The website also provides a section called family law in the fifty states that contains PDF charts summarizing state specific laws pertaining to custody, alimony, residency requirements and grounds for divorce.

The American academy of matrimonial lawyers is a national organization, based in Chicago. The site offers news updates of interest to matrimonial lawyers. useful resources include: divorce manual: a client handbook which provides an overview of the divorce process, the children bill of rights, bounds of advocacy: goals for family lawyers, and articles by divorce attorneys.
