Student Attorney's Hard work Pays off
Disability Rights Clinic student attorneys, Koert Wehberg and Carrie Auringer, have been working overtime the last 18 months on a very special case. A North Syracuse Woman, blind form birth, to send her statement in Braille. It took over 18 months of hard work for the student wanted Medicaid attorney’s to cut through the red tape and get their client exactly what it was she deserved.

Syracuse University Law Clinic Receives State Grant
The Syracuse University College of Law's Office of Clinical Legal Education received a $429,000 grant to continue its securities arbitration work in the Syracuse community for an additional three years. The award, provided by the New York State Attorney General's Office, will allow the Securities Arbitration and Consumer Clinic (SACC) to accept new clients, develop a community education outreach program, and to expand its client services capabilities. Now in its third year, this clinic provides representation to small investors across Central New York who have lost money as a result of the fraudulent or other harmful conduct of a broker-dealer.
