The Priority Deadline to apply for 2013-2014 financial aid is: February 15, 2013.

  • Instructions on how to apply for 2013-2014 financial aid will be sent to prospective students beginning in mid-December 2012.

  • If you miss the Priority Deadline, submit all of the required applications as soon as possible in order to be considered for all remaining sources of funding and to begin the process to apply for student loans.

  • Prospective Students: Do not wait for an admission decision to apply for financial aid. The financial aid application is a separate procedure that should be undertaken simultaneously with the admissions application process.

  • Current/Returning Law Students: All financial aid applicants must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. A select number of returning students will also be required to complete the College of Law Financial Aid Application. Log onto MySlice to view requirements on your Financial Aid "To Do List." 

  • What to submit: 

    1. The 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - apply online beginning January 1, 2013

    2. The 2013-2014 Syracuse University College of Law Tuition Grant Application

What You Should Know

  • Don't wait for acceptance to apply for financial aid.
  • The Priority Deadline to apply for financial aid is February 15th.
  • File the FAFSA in January, use estimated figures on the FAFSA in
    order to meet the Priority Deadline.
