Paying the Bursar Bill
Syracuse College of Law > Admissions and Financial Aid > Financial Aid > Application Steps > Paying the Bursar Bill
You are required to meet your financial obligations to Syracuse University each semester by the payment deadline or your student bursar account may be assessed with late fees and you could be prevented from registering for and attending classes. Fall charges will consist of tuition, fees, and room and board (if applicable).
- Anticipated Financial Aid:
No cash payment may be necessary if you have sufficient financial aid and/or student loans to cover the balance due. - Cash Payment:
The difference between the assessed charges and the anticipated aid (if any) will be the amount due by the published deadline. Information regarding acceptable forms of payment can be found on the Bursar Office website http://bfasweb.syr.edu/bursar/ - Monthly Payment Plan:
The Monthly Payment Plan (MPP) combines the elements of a deferred payment and a prepayment program. The total charges for each semester must be paid in monthly installments that will be recalculated based on account activity. There is no interest or finance charge imposed for use of the MPP, however, there is an application fee. Application forms are available in the Bursar's Office and on their website http://bfasweb.syr.edu/bursar/
