Refunds for Living Expenses
Once financial aid and/or educational loans have disbursed, students who have a credit balance on their student bursar account may request a refund from the Bursar’s Office. Refund requests may be made online via the MySlice portal, via email to the Bursar, or in-person in the Bursar’s Office.
Students may elect to set up “Direct Deposit” with the Bursar’s Office to receive refunds electronically.
The refund normally takes 5-7 business days from the time a credit exists on your account or from the date you place the request. However, during peak refund periods, it may take 7-10 business days from the time the credit exists on your account to process the refund.
Refunds will be processed beginning the first day of classes, no sooner. Early refunds are not available! Students are advised to plan their finances accordingly and have enough cash on hand to pay for their personal expenses during Orientation and the first week to ten days of classes each semester.
