Have You Been Wondering How to Apply for Summer 2014 Financial Aid?

Summer 2014 Financial Aid Instructions

If you plan to enroll in courses for summer 2014, you may be eligible for Federal Direct Student loans to cover the cost of tuition and fees, as well as personal living expenses for the weeks of your summer enrollment.  There are no grants or scholarships available from the College of Law Financial Aid Office for the summer.

To begin the loan application process, please complete the 2014 Summer Financial Aid Application online located on the financial aid website. Once your Summer Financial Aid Application is received, your loan eligibility will be calculated and you will be given instructions on how to apply for credit-based Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans.

Maximum loan eligibility is determined based on the number of credits for which you enroll and the loan period for which you enroll.  Students who do not register for credits in the summer are not eligible for summer 2014 loans.  Students must be registered at least "half-time" which is defined as 4 credits in the summer.

If you have questions about the application process or your loan eligibility, please contact the College of Law Financial Aid Office at 315-443-1963, send an email, or stop into our office (Suite 340 White Hall).
