Thank you for your interest in Syracuse University College of Law
The Master of Laws (LL.M.) for foreign students is a 24-credit hour graduate program designed to offer students with a foreign (non-US) law degree or its equivalent advanced study in American law. The program is designed to offer foreign legal professionals the opportunity to broaden their effectiveness through the study of US laws and the American legal process. Specifically, the LL.M. program will seek not only to teach students broadly about law, but also to teach students the reasoning, writing, and advocacy skills that are distinctive to the American Legal tradition.
We encourage prospective LL.M. students to apply online for the fall 2013 academic year.
