MySlice & The FA To-Do List

Using MySlice to View Your Financial Aid Information

Prospective students may access financial aid information using MySlice, Syracuse University's web portal. First, you must activate your Net ID and establish a password. Then, log onto the Financial Aid To-Do List to view the financial aid application requirements. Complete all of the “initiated” items on the list or, if you don’t plan on utilizing any type of financial aid, please send an email to LawFinAid@syr.edu and we’ll waive the requirements.

Here’s a list of the basic financial aid application requirements to apply for SU Law need-based grants, Federal Direct Loans, and/or Federal Work Study:

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) - should be filed to apply for SU Law Grants, Federal Direct Loans or Federal Work Study. The Syracuse University FAFSA code is 002882.
Law Financial Aid Policy Acknowledgement - must be completed if you are receiving any type of scholarship, grant, or loan.
Outside Scholarship Recipient - must be completed by everyone. Please indicate whether or not you are applying for awards from agencies besides the Law School. If you are not, please answer "no" and we will cancel the requirement.
