Merit-based College of Law Scholarships are awarded to selected incoming first-year J.D. students during the admission application process. All prospective J.D. students (whether US citizens, permanent residents or international applicants) are considered for merit-based scholarships. Law Scholarships range in value from twenty to eighty percent of tuition. In order to maintain merit-based scholarships from year-to-year, current law students must remain in good standing (minimum GPA of 2.20).
Law students can use their merit scholarships throughout their full-time enrollment – even during the completion of a joint degree, resulting in the opportunity to earn both degrees for the price of one!
Merit scholarships are offered to continuing students who are ranked in the Top 20 of their class based on class rank at the end of the 1L year.
