Law Library

The Syracuse University College of Law Library promotes and serves the educational and research needs of the Syracuse University College of Law, the University, and the community at large. It creates, develops, and supports appropriate services, resources, and facilities; promotes the dissemination of information and the creation of knowledge; and serves as a gateway to information sources beyond the scope of its collections.

New Online Group Study Room Reservation System

​Law students can now book the Law Library’s 9 group study rooms through an online web application. Each student can book 2 hours of group study room time per day. Reservations can be made 15 days in advance. See the online booking form for additional information.

Law Library Hours: Nov. 23 - 24

​The Law Library service desks will be closed Sat.-Sun., Nov. 23-24. The Law Library is available for law student swipe access only on these days. The service desks will re-open on Mon., Nov. 25 at 8am.

Law Library Hours: Nov. 25 - Dec. 1

During Thanksgiving week, the Law Library will be open with the following service desk hours: Nov. 25-27: 8am-5pm, Nov. 28-30: Closed. The Law Library service desks will be open for law students only on Sunday, Dec. 1, 9am-5pm, with swipe access to Dineen Hall and the Law Library.

CALI Lessons Can Assist with Final Exam Preparation

When reviewing course material for finals, College of Law students can use CALI’s collection of online legal tutorials. Students need to register on the CALI website to use the lessons. Law students can stop by the Reference Desk for the student authorization code needed for registration.

Law Library Debuts New Text-A-Librarian Service

With the start of the new academic year, the Law Library is introducing its Text-A Librarian service. Law students can send a text to the librarian staffing the Reference Desk if they have a question or need information. The service is only available during regular Reference Desk service hours. The text number is 315-516-8661.
