An expert on Communications Law, LaVonda Reed-Huff is a distinguished member of our faculty. Professor Reed-Huff's scholarly interests include the intersection of communications law and policy and property law. She serves on the executive committee of the Section on Mass Communication Law of the Association of American Law Schools, as well as on a number of other university, law school, national, and local committees and advisory boards.
Keith Bybee, the Paul E. and Hon. Joanne F. Alper '72 Judiciary Studies Professor at the College of Law and director of the Institute for the Study of the Judiciary, Politics and the Media, authored an op-ed in Jurist on confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan.
Thirteen College of Law professors, led by Lisa A. Dolak L'88, were one of only two ABA-appointed academic reading groups to review the writings of U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor while she was a nominee.
