Henry J. Ford, Jr.HENRY J. FORD, JR. received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia in 1999. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, as well as his Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship, in 2002.  

Since 2008, Mr. Ford has been an associate at the Chicago-based law firm of Albert, Whitehead, P.C., which is a full service, minority owned law firm.  His practice focuses on the areas of general commercial litigation, consumer law, and municipal law.

From 2004-2008, Mr. Ford was an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Illinois Attorney General's Consumer Fraud Bureau.  In that position he last served as a supervising attorney in the Bureau's mortgage fraud team.  In addition, Mr. Ford worked as a staff attorney at the law and policy firm, Business and Professional People for the Public Interest (BPI) in Chicago, which works to create solutions to the Chicago region's most compelling social justice challenges. At BPI, he worked on civil rights and fair housing issues and also worked with the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) while representing public housing families during housing redevelopment.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Ford is currently a Board Member with the Cook County Bar Association, which is the oldest black bar association in the United States. He resides in Evanston, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, with his wife Roseanne and his newborn baby daughter, Thierry.
