Students
The Office of Professional & Career Development provides a variety of programming and networking opportunities to assist students in developing the skills necessary for a successful job search and a successful legal career.
Programming topics range from the business of law and work-life balance to practice area specific events such as a roundtable discussion on judicial clerkships or a panel presentation on working for a small law firm. Students are informed of programming and events through direct emails, advertising and announcements published on Symplicity.
Students are encouraged to schedule individual meetings with counselors to build a long-term career plan. Working one-on-one with students and alumni, counselors can assist them with crafting job search strategies which focus on their interests and capitalize on their strengths.
A strong and rewarding legal career begins with self assessment and takes time, effort and commitment. The Office of Professional & Career Development is here to assist students and alumni throughout their careers.
