Committees
Academic Committee
Committee members compile course information, advise on instructors, gather outlines, and coordinate exchange of used textbooks and supplemental materials.  This committee serves the academic realm of the membership by assisting with scheduling and enhancing course performance.  Additionally, it presents its members with several opportunities to network within the faculty as well as career services in its career-building function. [Note: the Corporate Law Society Scholarship Fund is governed by the committee bearing its name].


Fundraising Committee
Committee members are responsible for organizing fundraisers, which involves presenting ideas to the membership for passing as well as ensuring their execution.  The resulting monies are used in funding various Corporate Law Society events (e.g., speakers) as well as the Corporate Law Society Scholarship Fund.  This committee has a significant impact on the quality and quantity of events and the value of the Scholarship Fund.


Philanthropic Committee
This committee fleshes out the society’s interests in helping various causes and charities.  Members are responsible for gathering information on these causes and presenting them to the membership for passing.  Committee members enjoy opportunities to work closely with the various causes and administrators of non-profit organizations as well as network within the law school administration.


Social Committee
Members are responsible for organizing social events with alumni, local attorneys, faculty, etc., which facilitate both career building and networking.  This committee is also responsible for informing the membership of upcoming events such as CLE (Continuing Legal Education) courses and other profession-related events.  Committee members enjoy an enumerable amount of networking opportunities within the local community as well as the profession generally.
