She maintains her roots in Lexington while working as a Class Agent for the Class of 2005 and visiting her fiancé who is a First Classman at Virginia Military Institute. Celia earned the Governor’s College Internship for Maryland Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. where she conducted research on state health and education policies in Annapolis, Maryland in the summer of 2005. Vice President, Publicity
Catrina Sveum
Catrina is a first-year law student at Syracuse University College of Law from Tampa, Florida. She graduated cum laude from the honors program at University of Florida in 2005 with degrees in religion and political science. In 2004, Catrina decided to examine politics from the other side of the divide and took a position as an intern for MoveOn.org during the presidential election. The experience was valuable and it actually strengthened her belief in conservatism. During the summer before law school, Catrina was part of a group of 15 American students invited by the German government to investigate post-Holocaust interactions between Germans and Jews. At UF, she was active in student government and took part in the organization of several large philanthropic events. She remains passionate about philanthropy and currently serves as the Philanthropy Chair for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society at SUCOL. Catrina is interested in working in entertainment or health law after she graduates in 2008.
